Description

Tasting: A deep ruby color, slightly tinged with violet with dazzling youth, revealing the vigor of the 2022 vintage. The nose opens with an expressive bouquet of ripe red fruits, dominated by notes of juicy cherries and freshly picked raspberries. Delicate aromas of dried roses and sweet spices add a floral and spicy dimension to this first impression. On the palate, this Santenay Premier Cru reveals a velvety texture and silky tannins. The lingering red fruit flavors of the nose are confirmed, accompanied by nuances of wild strawberries and blackberries. The well-integrated acidity brings balance and freshness to the whole. The finish is long and persistent, leaving elegant traces of black cherries, blackcurrant and fine spices on the palate. The tannins, although present, are fine and polished, announcing promising aging potential.

Food and Wine Pairings : A roast chicken, turkey or guinea fowl cooked with Provence herbs can complement the finesse and structure of Santenay Premier Cru, while offering a delicious harmony with its aromas.
